Just found this on the BOS Twitter feed, and had to share! If you can, please donate to this very worthwhile cause so that tiny little ones like Wigly can grow up to be magnificent dreadlocked red apes, free to roam in the forests of Borneo again!

The Aped Crusader...

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Why no, it is the mysterious Ape Activist come to save the simian world and spread news of Orangutans and endangered primates!
Monkey Queen needed a distraction from crafting sockosimians, and Satsuma "gently reminded" her that as a SpokesOrang, he deserved a suitable costume to reflect his status...well he actually kiss-squeaked MQ into submission, that Satsuma has a loud lip-smack let me tell you! MQ thought the green would bring out the beautiful copper shades in Satsuma's lush fur, and the red mask certainly complements his brown eyes...all us lady simian softies in the Monkey Sanctuary think he looks hot, hot, hot!!

My best friend, Satsuma

Bonjour! This is Satsuma, the Orangutan and Ape Activist. He is my best friend and he arrived at the Monkey Sanctuary on Christmas Day.
The Monkey King found him, and knew he was in need of some love and attention. He is from Borneo and his species is highly endangered.
Satsuma will help me on this blog by giving you updates on any Orangutan and Ape news, and by giving you tips on how to help the Orangutans in Borneo and Sumatra. There is lots of information here:
http://www.savetheorangutan.org.uk/
including details on how to adopt your very own Orangutan! I have an adopted brother, called Grendon and an adopted sister called Kesi and I will tell you all about them next time.
