Here are the latest additions to the Monkey Sanctuary, although these are only temporary residents! This is an exclusive sneak preview of some of the monkeys and monsters which MQ and Auntie Janine will be selling at the upcoming craft fairs at Regent House in Newtownards on 27th February, and at Belmont Tower in Belfast on 3rd April.
The monkeys and monsters need to go off into the world to spread their own special brand of lunacy and mayhem, and of course to begin phase one of MQ's cunning plan to colonise the world and create a new Monkeytopia!
We hope they all get loving homes well stocked with rum, Palm oil free chocolate (no cheap and nasty Cadburys rubbish please!) and bananas and someone to make them their very favourite meal of "pineapple vodka soup surprise".
If well cared for, a sock simian/monster will reward you with a lifetime of love and joy. However, be warned that very much like a Mogwai, if you don't obey certain rules they will terrorise your neighbourhood with naughty and saucy antics - and possibly a give a good old fashioned face ripping too!!
Right, I'm off to help MQ tidy those bookshelves (see photos-only a small pink monkey could sort out THAT chaos!) and to scoff that tasty sunflower decorated cupcake she got from a rather talented and lovely lady at Belmont Tower fair earlier today...I might even take a photo of it to show you what you're missing!
